The Story of
Anvilheart Volume 1
Anvilheart is the great city of the dwarves - located beneath Anvilheart mountain,
this city is hidden from the eyes of other free peoples - yet still a bustling
hub of trade and political power. Here the dwarven king rules and his people
thrive.
The Village Series
Meshbox Design's Village series of models are extremely popular with artists
and animators. Anvilheart Volume 1 is a new extension on to that series
of models.
- Strong Outside Value. The Village Series of
models are designed to not only "fill in a background" but
also provide "inside" functionality. Designs are logical
where possible, inside and out.
- Continuing Logic. The Village Series volumes
are usually based around a specific culture. There may be variations
from one volume to the next but there is an internal consistency
so that its possible to mix one group with another.
The Models
The series includes the following models released to date...
- Anvilheart Family Apartments.
Anvilheart Family Apartments are a block section in Anvilheart city
- depicting a two story group of homes for average sized dwarven
families. Despite the austere appearance of dwarves in the overworld,
dwarven homes are paneled with imported and rare stones - creating
a colorful and happy atmosphere. Includes props: ironworks, gear
mechanism, blast furnace, bucket, iron bar, ironworks demo, spade,
water wheel, water wheel demo, iron wheel barrow, wooden wheel
barrow.
- Anvilheart Lucky Keg Tavern. The Lucky Keg Tavern is a popular drinking place in Anvilheart city among tradesmen, travelers and adventurers. Beyond gold trimmed columns and under the namesake lucky keg, you find yourself in an open room of beautiful stonework, with a round bar in the middle with plenty of good dwarven brew. As is dwarven custom, onions and dwarven ring sausages hang from the ceiling as appetizers. Under the stairs is a set of double doors, leading into a kitchen, complete with dwarven ovens and stoves and preparation tables. Upstairs are the green semiprecious green gemstone tables where dwarven elders and senior tradesman meet - with a grand view of the canal from a balcony.Includes: cooking ax, barrel, barrel tree, bench, candle, cauldron, cutting board, dwarven chair, dwarven oven, dwarvish serving plate, dwarven bowl, elite green gemstone table, jub, keg, onions, pan, pantry, ring sausages, stove, tavble, luck keg tavern, lucky keg tavern demo (3DS, Br5 and vob).
- Anvilheart Docks and Warehouse.It would surprise many that the most common mode of transportation of merchant goods in Anvilheart is by water - the green river lies below the Great Walk, and it is at the king's warehouse and docks that cargo is transferred into and out of small vessels which move goods throughout the city. Two powerful cranes lift and store goods on three levels; there is also a gated storage area. Like all dwarven architecture, it uses a variety of beautiful stonework.
