Carpenter's Hall is a historic Philadelphia building that housed the first Continental Congress of the American Revolution. It is a two story building with a steeple - each room is completely furnished as if the Continental Congress is in session. Built in 1770 on Chestnut Street, it also contained Benjamin Franklin's Library Company, The American Philosophical Society, and the First and Second Banks of the United States.
