Toon Santa's Christmas Village 2008 is a set of eight beautiful 3D Christmas holiday models from Meshbox Design. Toon Santa ™ is the lovable 3D Santa Claus created in love and respect for holiday traditions. The Story of Toon Santa(tm)
If you grew up in the 70's in North America, you probably spent some quality hours in December watching the Rankin/Bass stop motion classics such as the Christmas Television Favorites Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudoph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and a Year without a Santa Claus (and a selection of more religious programming). The Rankin/Bass vision did not seem to translate well into the era of computer animation. Meshbox Design created Toon Santa and friends with stop motion, claymation and modern techniques to create a new style that captures the warmth of the '70s era.

Toon Santa is our humble offering - a warm, friendly and uncomplicated holiday character in the same spirit as those original stop motion characters - and bring it to the world of Poser.

In 2005, the simple joy of Toon Santa found its way to the Norad Santa website - NORAD is the government agency that tracks Santa's route each Christmas. We are happy to see that at the release of Toon Santa's Christmas Village in 2007, Toon Santa is still waving in new friends to their website.

• Toon Santa's Weatherstation. Toon Santa's weather station is a small outpost just outside of town. There, a pair of elves use small but powerful weather tracking gear to predict the weather. But they are not without comforts! Inside are chairs, tables and desks and a nice cozy fireplace to keep them warm. Includes a "snowless" version. • Toon Santa's Clocktower. Toon Santa's clocktower is a beautiful timepiece for all of Christmas town! This structure includes a golden clockface and full clock mechanism. Easily change/swap textures and shaders. Includes a "snowless" version. Includes Props: chair, clock, clocktower demo, clocktower with snow, clocktower without snow, mechanism, table1, table2.
• Toon Santa's Christmas Train. Toon Santa's train is a well used vehicle in the North Pole, both for bringing important personages from the south, but also to carry deliveries of foreign treats! Toon Santa's train includes the engine itself, a coal car, an example rail and a passenger car - all complete, inside and out. Textures are mapped so that they are easily replaced with native shaders. Includes Props: coal car, passenger car, rail, train engine, Toon Santa's Train demo.
• Toon Santa's Train Station. The North Pole Train Station greets travellers with a big golden sign. This great hall has plenty of room for folks waiting for their guests, and a large platform outside for travellers. Includes two special compact Poser versions. Includes Props: sign, bench, chair, fence, lamp, lamppost, table, train station demo, train station without snow, train station with snow, train station with snow (special compact Poser version), train station without snow (special compact Poser version).
• Toon Santa's Elf School. The Elf School features multiple, furnished classrooms, a conference room and a time out room for naughty elves. Includes both a no-snow and snow version. Includes Props: bench, chair, table, elf school demo, elf school no snow, elf school with snow.
• Toon Santa's Blue Ice Inn. The Blue Ice Inn is some distance from Christmas town, on the edge of an icy sea - but it’s a lovely getaway for elves and their friends. Features a celled, sectional building with an inner, open courtyard. Check in, in the lobby, then head on in to one of the rooms surrounding the courtyard. Fully furnished rooms! Comes with snow and no-snow versions. Includes Props: bench, chair 1, chair 2, table, elf bed, inn demo, inn no snow, inn with snow.
• Toon Santa's Kringle Bakery. Sweet Kringles Bakery is primarily a commercial shop for making Sweet Kringles pastry, an elf staple! The front room has a display case, plus samplers hanging on the walls and a couple of tables for visitors. In the back, a central, gold decorated stove is were some ingredients are prepared before going into the many ovens. Comes with snow and no-snow versions. Includes Props: chair, extract/vent, kringle, oven, sign, stove, table, bakery demo, bakery without snow, bakery with snow.
• Toon Santa's Hot Chocolate Factory. What's a Sweet Kringle without hot chocolate? This building has plenty of seats for sitting and sampling, but the core of the building is devoted to using its golden extractors and cookers to create wonderful hot chocolate. Pails of finished product is ready to be carried out to homes all across North Pole Village. Comes with snow and no-snow versions.
