The Story of Elven Journeys Volume 1
Elves were the most ancient and greatest crafters of ships - ships great and small that sailed distant seas and the great beyond. The Houses of the Lost Elves ply the sea lanes of the world, seeking a way home, for love of the seeking of hidden lore, and for vengeance against the Banshee. Elven Journeys Volume 1 - aka Elves and the Sea - is a collection of water craft models based around the elvish themes first introduced in the Meshbox Elven Village Series.

The Models

• Elven Small Sail. The Elven Small Sail is a deceptively simple looking craft that can stay afloat in a storm if captain'd by an experienced master of ships. This beautifully carved vessel includes a masthead of the most ancient House of the Owl. Detailed rigging and back paddles provide direction, while a small covered shelter includes a table, chairs and a hammock (for mortals or the ill). Two versions are included - a full sail version and a sail down version. Includes props: elven small sail ship demo, elven small ship no sail (sail is laying down); includes 3DS, Poser Prop, Vue VOB and Bryce BR 5 versions.
• Elven Schooner. The Elven Schooner is larger than the Elven Small Sail, with two masts, a set of fore-quarters, crew quarters and cargo hold.This particular schooner bears the masthead of the House of the Swan. The stairs to the forecabin are decorated with ornate swan headed, elven lamps. Even though the schooner is a working vessel, it bears all the elegance of an elven craft.
• Elven Warship. The Elves do not use large war vessels at sea, but rely mostly on the prowess of allies of the air and the cunning of their ancient magic. The Elven Warship is a small, but extremely fast, oared vessel, carrying elven warriors that are quick to pick up the famous shields of green dragon hide. The war ship has a lower deck where the free rower/warriors labor, but rely as much as possible on sail power. A ram in the likeness of a dragon is attached. Includes both an "oared" and non-oared version.
• Elven Merchant Ship. The Elven Merchant Ship bears the symbol of the (relatively) recent House of the Dolphin, a house that arose after the Lost Elves parted from the hidden city. This large vessel features multiple sails, a large cargo hold, crew quarters and a private refreshment room for the captain and his guests. It uses a more advanced wheel system for steering.
• Elven House Ship. The Elven House Ship is a recent phenomenon among the Lost Elves - many of the House of the Falcon travel the coasts and rivers - half in search of the Hidden City, the other half in taking in the richness of the world. Includes a spacious hold as well as living quarters, including a bed room, open living area and dining room. Includes both a complete demo version as well as a version without masts or furnishings - making it easier to customize. • Elven Healer's Ship. The Elven Healer's Ship is the craft of the elven mystics known as the Servants of the Lady. The Lady of Healing is a patron spirit of the order, which is devoted to healing the elven folk of those few injuries that can threaten their immortality. This elegant, masted vessel has a set of comfortable quarters for the healers, and a lower deck that carries numerous healing coffins of the elves. It is unknown what would happen if a non-elf were to lay inside. Includes both a complete demo version as well as a version without masts or furnishings - making it easier to customize.Includes props:elven healers ship, elven healers ship demo, lady of healing statue, healing coffin, elven bed.
• Elven Wizard's Ship. Although Elves are considered to be naturally magical, Elven wizards are a distinct breed because they pursue magical forms outside of what is considered the magical path of each individual Elven house - hence Elven wizards form a distinctive house of their own - the House of the Raven, after a creature of supernatural powers. Elven Ship-Wizards merely sit down in the seat of power, and can guide a ship without any crew at all - further, devices installed upon the ship can act as extensions of the wizard's unique power. This elven wizard ship has wizard's hands, which amplify and expand upon the streams of magical energy a wizard can use. • Banshee Ship. What appears as an abandoned and abused elven healer's ship is far, far worse than that - the black and ragged sails of the Banshee fill all with dread. Replacing the healing coffins are feeding tables, where all sentients suffer. Although a hint of elven beauty remains, this ship carries the a dreaded Banshee, the spiritual opposite of the elven healers.
